Chuwy (María Jesús Jiménez) was born in Antequera, a small village in the south of Spain.
She always was a passionate for drawing, crafts and photography.
After finishing her degree in Advertising she worked for several advertising agencies, mainly in branding, illustration and graphic design. She also managed to produce a successful vector illustration portfolio globally recognised in the microstock industry (iStockphoto, GettyImages, Shutterstock).
With more than 15 years of professional experience she currently works as a freelancer, doing commissions and increasing her portfolio of illustrations. She has also created the children’s books series “Lucy’s world”, that keeps on increasing with new titles.
Chuwy loves designing scenes that can inspire the viewer in some way. “Good images have a soul”, she uses to say. Exploring with nature elements and colors is what she likes the most.
